PROMOTING HEALTH

The Gold Coast Drug Council is committed to promoting and improving local health and all programmes and services incorporate elements of health education and promotion. We also take part in national events such as Drug Action Week, which help to raise the local profile of drugs and alcohol and the impact on our communities.

Other activities regularly undertaken include:
• visits to the Gold Coast Drug Council by local community groups, organisations and agencies
• visits and presentations by the Gold Coast Drug Council on request to community groups and other local organisations
