Youth Arts Worker Mentoring and Development Program. Inter Urban Arts has been successful in engaging a number of young people who have showed exceptional skill and interest in participating in youth arts and cultural careers. All the current Inter Urban Arts Programs and projects have built in mentoring components for emerging artists, arts workers and arts administration workers. The DRASTIC program utilizes these mentors by engaging them in peer mentoring with program participants. MAD operates to support participants as they grow and develop skills in their chosen fields. MAD mentors and emerging workers have access to training and development opportunities, peer supervision, community participation opportunities, mentoring with workers in the youth and arts sectors, individual case management and when ready are supported to run their own community projects.
