Mirikai Residential Arts and Drama Program. RAD is a 2-3 hour arts and theatre workshop delivered with in Gold Coast Drug Council Rehabilitation centre: Mirikai. It focuses on art as a therapeutic tool, a tool for self discovery, self development, relaxation, expression, communication and community participation.

Residents develop skills in artistic practice, confidence, personal reflection, performance and team work. The program delivers 2 yearly showcase events a presentation/performance at the yearly Graduation event and a yearly Ritual Fire Event at the end of year Christmas party. Participants in RAD often become participants in other Inter Urban Arts projects and mentors on the DRASTIC program.
